ADAM DAVID COHEN

Adam has composed the scores for The Apple and Other Slip-ups (premiered Summer 2005 at Rose's Turn Cabaret), The Hadleyburg Project, RumpleStiltSkin, and OhManhattan!. He has worked as a composer for Independent Film Channel, Bravo,and American Movie Classics as well as for many industrial videos. Adam is the founder and executive director of LITTLE VILLAGE PLAYHOUSE (LVP), a not for profit theatre group in Pleasantville, NY. Recent LVP directing credits: Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, Floyd Collins, Pacific Overtures, Saturn Returns, Gorey Stories, Anyone Can Whistle. Adam is a Graduate of the Musical Theatre Writing Program at Tisch School of the Arts. Adam would like to thank everyone who took a risk and made this production possible.

Ben Rimalower

produced and directed the critically acclaimed New York premiere of John Fisher's Joy Off-Broadway at the Actors' Playhouse and Off-Off Broadway at The Producers' Club. Other recent directing credits include the benefit concert of Snoopy! (Symphony Space starring Sutton Foster), Lance Home's How Love Goes (Joe's Pub/Dominion/Fire Island Pines), Mike Shapiro's The Alleged Adventures Of Blenderman (Ten Minute Musicals Competition Finalist) and Yuval Sharon's Infinity Breathes. He also produced and directed the 2003 and 2004 SHINE Awards at Hollywood's House of Blues (with Kelsey Grammar, Mariska Hargitay and Laura Innes) and the Cover-The-Uninsured-Week Unity Concert (with Brian Stokes Mitchell and Julia Murney.) Lately, Ben has been busy directing a series of readings of new plays he's developing including Stan Richardson's wHormone (Second Stage with Judy Blazer and Alma Cuervo), Alex Wexler's The Devil And Dexter Webster (York Theatre with John Tartaglia), ...Half Dozen Of Another (with Julie Garnye, Natalie Joy Johnson, Poppi Kramer, Leslie Kritzer, Stephanie Kurtzuba and Sheri Sanders) and William Zeffiro's The Road To Ruin (with Ann Morrison.) Upcoming projects include Michael Cooper and Hyeoung Kim's Jonathan Larson Award-winning musical Sunfish, Lindsey Alley's Look Ma...No Ears! and Natalie Joy Johnson's solo cabaret debut. In California, Ben has directed productions of Jeffrey, Cabaret, Death, Into The Woods, Chess, Ruthless!, Falsettos and Eleemosynary. Assistant Director credits include Lonny Price's productions of A Class Act (Manhattan Theatre Club, Broadway and Tokyo) and A Little Night Music (starring Patti LuPone, George Hearn and Zoe Caldwell) as well as the Emmy-winning Sweeney Todd. Ben studied Dramatic Art at U.C. Berkeley where he was the founding Artistic Director of BareStage (now celebrating its 10th anniversary.)

At NYU she performed in many shows, among them the Mainstage Spring Awakening as Martha, I'd Rather Be Right as Peggy, and Inappropriate: The Rock Musical as Diane. Jason Courson

A native of South Georgia, Jason pursued a BFA in Theatre Performance/Productionfrom Valdosta State University, before heading to New York to earn his MFA in Scenic Design from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film, division of Entertainment Design Technology, Purchase College, SUNY. Jason has been resident designer for such theatres as the MacHaydn Theatre in Chatham, NY, as well as the New London Barn Playhouse in New London, NH. He was the Design Assistant for the New York Grand Opera's 2001 Viva Verdi, season in Central Park (Aida, Othello, Falstaff). Regionally he has designed the scenery for such shows as La Cage Aux Folles, Fiddler on the Roof, 42nd Street and his thesis production, Don Giovanni. As costume designer Jason designed the Purchase Theatre Ensemble's production of The Laramie Project. Jason designed the sets and costumes for the premiere production of A Stoop on Orchard Street, which played for over 18 months at the Mazer Theater. spent his childhood in Staten Island, where he appeared in over thirty shows. He attended Binghamton University, where he met his future writing partner Adam Cohen. Together, they have written five musicals - Oh Manhattan!, RumpleStiltSkin, Sodom, The Hadleyburg Project, and The Apple and Other Slip-ups - and have collaborated on many other projects. In addition, Kevin is an (honorary) faculty member of Little Village Playhouse. He has also been seen performing around town at the Vineyard, Here, the Duplex, Dixon Place, and Rose's Turn. Kevin recently moved to Virginia, where he teaches English to high school students, gleefully corrupting the minds of future generations.

(Whore) A Boston University School of the Arts graduate, has been garnering rave reviews as Mother in penny4eyes. Lucia has appeared Off-Broadway in the York Theatre's acclaimed revival of Godspell and can be heard on the popular Fynsworth Alley recording, singing "By My Side". Lucia appeared in HAIR at the New Amsterdam Theater and can be heard on the cast album as well. As a proud member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices she can be heard on their Christmas CD GREAT JOY - a Gospel Christmas on Sk-k-boom Records as well as DMP Record's GRACE. She can also be heard on Clay Aiken's Merry Christmas with Love on RCA Records. Other performances include: Radio City Music Hall's Sinatra His Voice, His World, His Way, The Noel Coward 100th Birthday Celebration "Mad About the Boy" at Carnegie Hall, and with Vanessa Williams in Silver and Gold at the Palace Theater.

(Musical Director/Pianist) Marcus is pleased to be working on yet another Adam Cohen original. Another of Adam's shows, The Hadleyburg Project was the first piece that Marcus music directed after moving to the City from Cleveland. Marcus has been an accompanist with AMDA, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School and is currently on staff with the Metropolitan Opera Guild as a music mentor for a choral arts program and with the Singers Forum as a member of the accompanying staff. Regional credits include Assistant Music Director and performance pianist for Arizona Theatre Company's production of Oh, Coward and rehearsal pianist for Cleveland's Playhouse Square. He is also music director for Little Village Playhouse in Pleasantville, a program devoted to youth and their development as performers. Working with Ben, Adam, James and the rest of the production staff has been a Joy.

Stephanie appeared Off Broadway in Tibet Does Not Exist (Theatre For Human Rights) and regionally in: The God of Isaac, The Learned Ladies, Talking With, Scotland Road, Private Lives, A Servant of Two Masters, and Six Degrees of Separation. Theatre credits include the world premiere of Shanghai Lil's at Pan Asian Rep, the rock musical Making Tracks with Second Generation, NAATCO/Ma-Yi's You Can't Take it With You and Forbidden City Blues at Stamford Theatre Works. He also originated the role of Moxa in The Remarkable Journey of Prince Jen for which he earned the coveted title: Asian Answer to John Cleese, and Kajiin Burning Botticelli at the 2004 New York Fringe Festival. Screen credits include appearances on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "SNL", "Yongsoo Park's Free Country" (Jason Kim), "The Accident" (with Amy Acker and Sarah Clarke) and HBO's award winning Mafia drama, "The Sopranos". As a writer, Timothy has written book and lyrics for the one act musical And Then There Were Two with composer Carl Fernstrum (NYU/GMTWP), and music for the one acts Breathing Mars with playwright Liz Duffy Adams (Warning: Not For Broadway or the Met Either) and Kissing Nick with playwright Catherine Ward (Raw Impressions Musical Theatre Workshop).
