TOBACCO BAR THEATRE COMPANY:

A not-for-profit organization founded in 1999 by Elizabeth Wolf, Tobacco Bar Theatre Company has produced shows in the International Fringe Festival, the Midtown Theatre Festival, and numerous venues throughout New York City. Tobacco Bar's residency with Horse Trade Theater Group began with 2001's critically acclaimed "Einstein's Dreams" and continued with last year's "Disorder," "Downloaded and in Denial," starring
Cynthia Adler and directed by Tony Award winner Robert Kalfin, and this spring's "second." Often confused with an endorsement for cigarettes, the company takes its name from the French "bar tabac:" a popular gathering place for artists and writers. Tobacco Bar Theatre Company is a sponsored artist of The Field, and primarily consists of non-smokers.

Joe LaRue: Joe is a writer, director, actor, graphic designer, photographer, and singer-songwriter. He has appeared in numerous stage productions off and off- off broadway as well as regionally. He is the author of "Disorder," and directed Tobacco Bar's production of "second." he holds an MFA in acting from the University of Florida.

Michael Mangione: Michael graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Drama Education. New York: "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "The Winter's Tale." Regional: "Picasso at the lapin Agile," "Extremeties," "Scapino."

Dana Panepinto: moved to New York after a stint teaching and directing in the New Orleans school system. She received her MFA from the University of Florida where her interests in visual arts, dance, and music influenced her work as actor, director, and teacher. New York: "A Winter's Tale." Regional: "Love's Labour Lost," "The Pitchfork Disney," "Angels in America," and "Hedda Gabler."

Donna Robinson: Donna received a Masters Degree in Acting from the University of North Carolina before becoming a Professor of Voice/Movement and Acting at SUNY-College at Fredonia. She has acted in the National Tour of "Crazy For You," and regionally in "Merry Wives of Windsor" for the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival,and "Three Tall Women" with The Collective. She is a certified actor-combatant with the society of American Fight Directors.

Jaki Silver: Jaki's theatrical career runs the gambit of everything from building sets to stage managing, but her real passion is performing. She is trained in acting as well as musical theatre. She has studied with Brad Garside, Cay Michael Patten, Andy Gale, Robert Kalfin and many more.

Neal Utterback: born in Montecello, Indiana, holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Florida. His play "The Liar's Poem," was produced in 2002 at One Arm Red in Brooklyn. He is the author of Tobacco Bar's production, "second." heis currently the Writer in Residence for Tobacco bar Theatre Company. www.tobaccobar.com

Leslie Meisel: is a co-founder of Tobacco Bar. She is a member of The Second City and continues to learn and work with groups such as "The Orphans" and "Happy Like Your Cousin." She is truly honored to have had such teachers as Martin deMaat (2nd City), and Kevin Mullany (UCB).
