Allyson Morgan

is an actress, writer, producer, and graduate of The Ohio State University. She most recently has been seen onstage with F*It Club, aMios, Young blood, Studio42, the NY Fringe Festival, and New York Theatre Experiment. She also hopes several of the independent films she shot in the last year get released soon. Allyson co-ran and was an Associate Producer with New York Theatre Experiment for over seven years and is the founder and Executive Director of film and theatre collective F*It Club. She was recently named a"performer to watch" by ReviewFix.com.

Heather J. Violanti is honored to be working on Flower Thief. Previously for Horse Trade, she was part of the teaching team for their inaugural Playwriting Workshop. Heather is the Dramaturgy and Development Associate for the Mint Theater. Previous dramaturgy includes A Little Journey and Susan and God at the Mint, and Pearl’s Gone Blue at the New York Fringe Festival. Heather is a member of the Women’s Work Lab at New Perspectives Theatre.

Heidi Grumelot

is the Artistic Director of Horse Trade Theater Group. She is co-creator and producer of the monthly storytelling show TOLD and the founding director of The Drafts, an acting ensemble responsible for development of over forty original plays to date as part of a monthly reading series. Heidi's New York directing credits include Donnie and the Monsters at UNDER St. Marks, punkrock/lovesong at The Brick, Dido and Aeneas with The New York Collective of Performing Arts at The West End Theater and The Boston Early Music Festival, A River Pure for Healing and An Absolutely Perfect Life at UNDER St Marks, Accidents Do Happen,Tom's Things, and Turning the Glass Around in The Red Room. Assistant director credits include Antony and Cleopatra, Love's Labour's Lost, and A Christmas Carol for the American Shakespeare Center. She has also directed productions in Michigan, Virginia, and Mexico. Prior to working at Horse Trade, Heidi worked for Laura Stanzyck Casting and The Public Theater's Casting Department. Casting Assistant credits include Impressionism on Broadway, The Cripple of Inishman at Atlantic Theater Company, The Shawshank Redemption at The Gaiety Theater in Dublin, Holiday Garland at The Westport Country Playhouse, and Hamlet and Hair at Shakespeare in the Park.

is an artist and set designer based in Los Angeles. She received her MFA in set design from Calarts in 2007. She has designed theater, opera, dance and installations throughout Los Angeles and New York. Her work has been seen at Symphony Space, Bootleg Theater, Pomona College, Cal State L.A, Caltech, CalPoly, Los Angles Municipal Gallery, Workspace, Raid Projects, Telic ArtExchange, Hi-Lite, Outpost for Contemporary Art and The Washington Museum of Art.

Jesse Cameron Alick

is a poet, playwright, producer and Zen Master. Jesse works as the Artistic Director for Subjective Theatre Company. Artistic Associate at the Public Theater and is Assistant to the playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. Jesse is also the east coast editor of High Contrast Review, freelance journalist and essayist. Jesse studied writing with playwright Adrienne Kennedy and taught a theater course at Lewis and Clark College.

is making her first foray into the New York theatre scene with THE FLOWER THIEF. A recent graduate, she does vaccine research by day and stage manages by night. During college, she stage managed several shows, including THE SHAPE OF THINGS, THE RAINMAKER, PROOF, and THE SAD GIRL'S GUIDE TO WALLOWING PROFESSIONALLY. A Philadelphia native, Lisa has worked regionally with The Intiman Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, ACT Theatre, Artist Repertory Theatre, The Attic Ensemble, The Fifth Avenue Theatre and The Walnut Street Theatre. New York credits includeBrokeology (u/s) at Lincoln Center Theatre, The Etymology of Bird with Summer Stages, Amarie with the New Federal Theatre, and 365 Days/365 Plays with The Public Theatre and The Classical Theatre of Harlem. She has also been seen in Law & Order:SVU in the recurring role of Tanya Majeski, ACS. Lisa is an MFA graduate from the University of Washington's Professional Actor Training Program in Seattle, and a proud member of Actor's Equity Association.

Native New Yorker, Maurice is no stranger to the worlds of theater and entertainment. Graduate of New York City College of Technology with a degree in Entertainment Technology, he has always had a love for technology and how it's evolving in our society. Having done lighting, sound, and all things technical for events and productions from the age of 14, he has gained a real appreciation for the different arts of live entertainment. Pia Wilson
(Playwright)
is a 2011 Heideman Award finalist for her short play, TURNING THE GLASS AROUND and a semi-finalist in the 2011 Bay Area Playwrights Festival. She is a member of the 2008 Emerging Writers Group at The Public Theater and a 2009 playwriting fellow with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. She is also amember of The Passage Theatre Play Lab and a member of the 2009 Project Footlight team of composers and librettists.
Her full-length drama, RED ROOSTER, was a part of The Classical Theatre of Harlem's Future Classics reading series as well as the Emerging Writers Spotlight Series at The Public Theater. ALL THE PRETTY GIRLS was featured in The Looking Glass Theatre's Spring 2009 Writer/Director Forum. THE RIVER PURE FOR HEALING was part of the 2008 Resilience of the Spirit play festival. Her play, TREE OF LIFE, received a 2007 workshop production at The Red Room Theater.
