Ben Diserens

is an actor and playwright based in New York City. Ben is originally from San Francisco, but has lived in Australia, taught at the Australian Theatre for Young People and studied at the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia. He is also the founder and head writer of the web-based sketch comedy group Eclectic Boogaloo; they have been featured on College Humor and FunnyOrDie.com where they have received nearly 50,000 views. His work with Less Than Rent includes Words, Razors and The Wounded Heart (Danny) and Beckett in Benghazi(Playwright). University credits include John Proctor in The Crucible, Mrs. Packard (dir. Recent NYC credits include INDEPENDENTS (winner ‘Best Musical’ at FringeNYC, SoHo Playhouse) and COW PLAY (a new play premiering at FringeNYC) for which he was described as a “wunderkind” by The New York Times, as well as ANIMALS (Ars Nova ANTFest) and THE PRIVATE SECTOR (Theater for the New City). In addition, he has directed a variety of music videos, short films, and web series; his first feature, MUCKLAND, featuring Alice Ripley and Will Brill is scheduled for release later this year.

James Presson

is the Co-Artistic Director of Less Than Rent. Writing credits include WORDS, RAZORS, AND THE WOUNDED HEART (Less Than Rent/Horse Trade), MONEY$HOT (premiering at Orlando Rep in May), LITTLE TOWN BLUES (The Wild Project), VOICES IN CONFLICT (Vineyard Theatre, collaboration with Bonnie Dickinson), and FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS (Walkerspace). In 2010, he was awarded the FringeNYC Outstanding Director award for his musical adaptation of Richard III at the age of 19. He is the recipient of the 2013/14 Dramatists Guild Fellowship (with partner Alexander Sage Oyen) for Musical Theatre writing for their musical OUTLAWS, which will continue its development at the 2014 ASCAP workshop.

Lance Lemon

Lemon has been in N.Y for 5 months! Raised in Richmond Virginia. Lance has spent his life on the stage. Graduated from the University of Virginia, double majoring in Acting and Studio Art with a focus in Cinematography. For the last 4 years lance has been heavily involved with his film career. Doing multiple independent films and feature films in D.C and Virginia. His last 3 credits include: Spielberg's "Lincoln", "Killing Lincoln" a National Geographic TV film and "Troop 491: The Adventure of the Muddy Lions" a film done by Tim Ried and Praheme of Praphetic Productions. Lance has not been on the stage since 2011 where he had the task of taking on the role of Paul in John Guare's " Six Degrees of Separation" ... He Is "Stoked" to be taking a break from film and to jump back on the stage, where he started his acting career.

Sean Patrick Monahan

is a performer and playwright, and a member of Less Than Rent Theatre. Sean Patrick's solo musical, DIVA, debuted last October at Theatre Row in a thrice-extended run with the United Solo Festival, where it was awarded "Best Musical" and "Audience Favorite." Past writing credits include High Upon the Gallows Tree (Winner of Best Play, Manhattan Rep Festival 2012), Though Soft You Tread Above Me (The Gene Frankel Theater, Less Than Rent), Flown the Coop (Fast & Furious Festival, Stage Left Spokane), and The Morality Play (workshop with Wide Eyed Productions), as well full productions of A Semi-Staged Reading of a Play Called 6B, The Verse Play, The Front Porch Play, andThank You, Fifteen. Sean Patrick has also worked extensively with Tony-nominee and off-Broadway legend Charles Busch, appearing in Mr. Busch's work at Manhattan Theatre Club, Theatreworks USA, the Arthur Seleen Theatre, and in the annual staged reading of Times Square Angel at Theatre for the New City.

Tom Sanchez

Is a New York City based Actor, Writer, and Comedian. He is a company member of Less Than Rent and graduated from Yale University in 2012 with a degree in Theater Studies. While there he participated in over 20 full-length shows, including History Boys and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. In addition, he performed on campus in over 40 shows with his improv group, the Yale Ex!t Players, Yale's oldest undergraduate improv comedy group. Since graduating, he has been seen in Independents at the 2012 New York Fringe Festival which was a New York Times Critics pick for which he was described as "effortlessly hilarious" (New York Times). He is a company member with Less Than Rent Theater and was a part of their productions of Desire: A Varsouviana and Words, Razors, and the Wounded Heart. Tom was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, raised in Gilbert, Arizona and now live in Astoria, Queens.
