David has written 12 pieces for Amios; this one makes it a baker's dozen. Perhaps not coincidentally, he also enjoys baking, and playing the dozens. In his spare time, he manages credit risk. David would like to thank all of the talented people with whom he's been lucky enough to work, especially Justin Yorio, who gave him the chance to write for Shotz.

David L. Williams

David L. Williams is a graduate of the theatre department of Cornell University, where he was a four time award recipient in the Heerman’s-McCalmon Playwriting contest. Since then, he has written more than twenty-five plays and musicals. He is a member of the Dramatist Guild and has won the Riverside Stage Company’s Founder’s Award and the EBE Ensemble’s “You Fill In The Blank” festival. Additionally he has been named a finalist in Inkwell Theatre’s Inkubator Festival (Washington, D.C.) and a two-time finalist in (and one-time winner of) HotCity Theatre’s GreenHouse New Play Festival (St. Louis). His career highlights include having four of his plays and musicals selected for the New York International Fringe Festival. His work has also been produced in Illinois, California, Massachusetts, Florida, and Washington, D.C. He recently moved to Bellefonte, PA with his wonderful wife Kathleen.

Jenna Panther is an actor, director and Co-Artistic Director of Amios. She is a mighty proud graduate of the National Theatre Conservatory where she earned her MFA while swinging on the trapeze and performing extensively with the Denver Center Theatre Company. She also attended the University of Evansville and is a native of Louisville, KY - “home of the most exciting two minutes in sports”. Recently Jenna’s been working with the Group Lab, another artistic and incubator for new work.

Kate MacCluggage is a proud member of Amios! Her play Whatever Happened to Baby Ngozi? was part of Arrivals and Departures with Amios two years ago. She has written and directed many Shotz plays with the company. As an actress, her credits include The Farnsworth Invention on Broadway; The 39 Steps Off-Broadway; Much Ado About Nothingand The Merchant of Venice (Elliot Norton Award) with TFANA; Three Sisters with The Assembly; and various regional productions. She is currently playing Viola in Twelfth Nightat Hartford Stage.

Lindsay Joy Murphy

Lindsay Joy Murphy is a Brooklyn based playwright. She is the Artistic Director of he LabRats Theater Company in New York City. (www.thelabratsnyc.com)The Rats are producing her new full length play, "The Rise and Fall of a Teenaged Cyberqueen" in the spring of 2013. She frequently works with Amios for their monthly short play bonanza, SHOTZ , at the Theatre Under St. Marks. Her short pieces have been seen all over the country- from the Bowery Poetry Club to the Boston Playwright's Theater. Her full length play, "Severance" was produced by the Barracudas in the spring of 2010. Her collaborative piece "The Apartment: a Play with Four Sides" was featured in the 2011 NY International Fringe Festival. In 2001, Lindsay won the award for best short play at the Kennedy Center's American College Theater Festival for her piece "Life, Love and a 7-11". She is a proud graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

Nick Abeel

Nick Abeel is delighted to design sound for this incredible show. Nick is an actor by trade and since moving to New York, he's developed work with Manhattan Theatre Club, Lark Play Development Center, EST Youngblood and performed regionally at the Denver Center, Kennedy Center, and the Indiana Rep. Nick developed an interest in sound design out of necessity as a writer and director for Amios' monthly show, Shotz! He then designed sound for Amios' full-length show IN THE MEANTIME, along with several Amios videos this year. Other sound-related ventures include learning to play the piano and guitar and listening to NPR. Nick is a proud graduate of the University of Evansville.

Rachel Dart received her BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her directing work has been featured at companies such as The Culture Project, The 52nd Street Project, Amios, Emerging Artists Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Oberon Theatre Ensemble, and Prospect Theater Company. She has also directed in various festivals, such as the Estrogenius Festival, the West Village Musical Theatre Festival, and the Manhattan Shakespeare Project’s Emerging Female Voices Playwrights Fest.
