BB Heart

BB Heart is a Brooklyn-based artist and a founding member of Storybook Burlesque. She graduated with a BFA in studio art, but has since then taken her art out of the studio and onto the burlesque stages of New York City, Boston, San Francisco and beyond. She loves bringing her expertise in movement, dance and vocal training to the burlesque stage and fusing the art of strip tease with her love of the dramatic.

Boo Bess

Boo Bess is one of the newest members of Storybook Burlesque after wowing the audience with her interpretation of the Grand High Witch in the troupe’s Rhold Dahl audition show in early 2012. Hailing originally from just outside of Washington DC, Boo has lived in New York City since 2004 where she works as an actor (among other things). She began performing burlesque in 2009 and has since performed all over NYC for Wasabassco Burlesque, Gotham Burlesque, The Sugar Shack, The Slipper Room, Coney Island, and many more. Calling herself The Burlespian, she loves to combine the theatrical and dramatic with the sexy in an effort to tell stories. All the stories.

Boo Boo Darlin'

Boo Boo Darlin' is known as the Carol Burnett of Burlesque. In 2009 Miss Darlin' began exploring the world of Bumps and Grinds in Richmond Virginia. It was there she co-created and produced Richmond Varietease for two years (and was Richmond's longest running monthly burlesque variety show to date). Boo Boo Darlin' is the recipient of two golden pastie awards from the New York Burlesque Festival 2010 "Hottest Freshman" and 2012 "Performer you would most like to have a slumber party with". In 2011 Boo Boo moved to New York City where she regularly performs in Manhattan & Brooklyn but has also graced the stages in New Jersey, Washington D.C., Delaware, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and San Francisco.In 2013 she will be making her onscreen debut as a 1920's burlesque dancer in James Gray's movie "Nightingale" alongside Joaquin Phoenix, Marion Cottilard, Jeremey Renner, and some other lovely NYC burlesque beauties. Boo Boo Darlin' is delighted to be one of the newest members of Storybook Burlesque.

Jenny C'est Quoi

Jenny C’est Quoi is the co-producer of Brooklyn’s Indie Girls Burlesque (where the audience suggests the theme!) and founding member of Storybook Burlesque. Hailing from below the Mason-Dixon, she has since performed throughout New York City and beyond. With a five-year improv comedy background and array of absurdist acts, Jenny lives up to her monicker, The Sexy Non Sequitur of Burlesque!

Lefty Lucy

Lefty Lucy is Miss Coney Island 2011!!! She made her burlesque debut in the NYSB Showcase in January 2009 at the Slipper Room, and has been performing, kittening, and gogo dancing all over the East Coast ever since. A founding member of Storybook Burlesque and original cast member of Epic Win Burlesque, she also co-produces Drive-Thru Burlesque with Sizzle Dizzle. Drive-Thru Burlesque is a monthly 5 hour burlesque extravaganza every second Friday at the Parkside Lounge. And because she has far too much free time, she also produces Dime Store Burlesque. When she has free time she works to update Burlesque Exposed, an interview blog documenting the history and development of burlesque in NY over the last 20 years.

Magdalena Fox

Born and Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Magdalena Fox picked up and moved to New York City in search of excitement and adventure, and she hasn’t looked back! A graduate of the New York School of Burlesque, she made her stage debut in December of 2008 and has since been busy wowing crowds with her inventiveness, character choices, and taste in music. When not busy performing her signature metal/rock numbers all over NYC and special appearances throughout the Northeast, (including Indie Girls Burlesque, Epic Win Burlesque, and the Red Rover Revue) Magdalena is hard at work making costumes for a number of her sister performers.

TIGGER! "The Original King of Boylesque" & "The Godfather of Boylesque" is a Stripperformance Artist who has performed in New York & abroad since 1988. A Pioneer in the 90s burlesque revival who has been stripping since 1992 & remains a leading influence in the international scene. Won the 1st-ever King of Boylesque title at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas 2006. Won several Golden Pastie Awards, including "Most Likely to Get Shut Down by the Law" & "Most Unpredictable Performer." Ranked in the Top 5 Burlesque Performers of 2010 (the only solo male) in a recent international online poll. His act was banned in Rome's Gay Village in 2011. Victoria Privates

Victoria Privates is a burgeoning burlesque performer in New York City and the surrounding area. Only a year and a half after first appearing in the World Famous BOB Presents! Show, she is proud to have shared the stage with many of her burlesque inspirations in the NYC area and beyond. Known more and more for her quirky twist on the art of ecdysiasm, she has performed in a wide variety of gigs from Sweet & Nasty Burlesque to Paul Booth’s Annual Halloween show to this year’s All Points West Music Festival. She is thrilled to be one seventh of Storybook Burlesque, New York City’s newest up-and-coming burlesque troupe.
