BB Heart

BB Heart is a Brooklyn-based artist and a founding member of Storybook Burlesque. She graduated with a BFA in studio art, but has since then taken her art out of the studio and onto the burlesque stages of New York City, Boston, San Francisco and beyond. She loves bringing her expertise in movement, dance and vocal training to the burlesque stage and fusing the art of strip tease with her love of the dramatic.

Bitty Bamboo

A music and drama teacher in Toronto Canada, Bitty made the move to New York for a career change. Taking her first burlesque steps under Howling Vic, Bitty finally found an artistic outlet to fulfill her craving for creative endeavors. When not burlesquing, Bitty plays oldtime music on her banjo and works on singing art songs at her Julliard night classes. Her biggest challenge is making sure all the glitter is off her face before she sits in meetings at her corporate day job. Bitty is super-honored to be one of the newest members of Storybook Burlesque.

Boo Bess

Boo Bess is one of the newest members of Storybook Burlesque after wowing the audience with her interpretation of the Grand High Witch in the troupe’s Rhold Dahl audition show in early 2012. Hailing originally from just outside of Washington DC, Boo has lived in New York City since 2004 where she works as an actor (among other things). She began performing burlesque in 2009 and has since performed all over NYC for Wasabassco Burlesque, Gotham Burlesque, The Sugar Shack, The Slipper Room, Coney Island, and many more. Calling herself The Burlespian, she loves to combine the theatrical and dramatic with the sexy in an effort to tell stories. All the stories.

Cheeky Lane

Newcomer Cheeky Lane has been steadfastly catching the eyes and hearts of everyone around her since her first debut in 2010. The burlesque stage is where Cheeky’s daydreams meet the real world. Romantic, charming, and a little bit offbeat, she will steal your breath and tickle your spine as she acts out her innermost fantasies and let loose the monstrosity that is her imagination. Cheeky is a graduate of The New York School of Burlesque. She has performed in shows including Drive-Thru Burlesque, Honi Harlow’s Hide-A-Way, Hotsy Totsy Burlesque, Kitty Nights, Revealed, The Rhinestone Follies, Sweet & Nasty Burlesque, Wasabassco Burlesque, and Yellow Fever Burlesque. She has graced the stages of many New York venues including Bar on A, Bowery Poetry Club, City Winery, Coney Island’s Sideshow by the Seashore, The Delancey, Joe’s Pub, The Kraine Theatre, Nurse Bettie, Parkside Lounge, The Producer’s Club, R Bar, Under St. Marks Theatre, and Union Hall.

Jenny C'est Quoi

Jenny C’est Quoi is the co-producer of Brooklyn’s Indie Girls Burlesque (where the audience suggests the theme!) and founding member of Storybook Burlesque. Hailing from below the Mason-Dixon, she has since performed throughout New York City and beyond. With a five-year improv comedy background and array of absurdist acts, Jenny lives up to her monicker, The Sexy Non Sequitur of Burlesque!

Magdalena Fox

Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Magdalena Fox picked up and moved to New York City in search of excitement and adventure, and she hasn’t looked back! A graduate of the New York School of Burlesque, she made her stage debut in December of 2008 and has since been busy wowing crowds with her inventiveness, character choices, and taste in music. When not busy performing her signature metal/rock numbers all over NYC and special appearances throughout the Northeast, (including Indie Girls Burlesque, Epic Win Burlesque, and the Red Rover Revue) Magdalena is hard at work making costumes for a number of her sister performers.

Rosey La Rouge

Rosey La Rouge is the producer behind Tattoo Girl Burlesque, and a founding member of New York City’s ground-breaking new troupe, Story Book Burlesque. She has performed coast to coast, with Hubba Hubba and Red Hots in San Francisco and at countless notable NYC shows. She is an established costume designer for stage, opera and film, and this expertise makes her mix of classic and narrative acts truly dynamic and visually mind-blowing. Diminutive in height, but abundant in curvature, with a penchant for vintage looks and her own lingerie line, Tattoo Girl Lingerie, Rosey lives up to her reputation as The Pocket Sized Pin-Up.
