Courtni Wilson

With extensive training in classical ballet, modern, and theatre dance, Courtni Wilson received her BFA in ballet performance from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of the Oklahoma Festival Ballet. During her tenure, she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, which led her to New York. She remained in NYC to live and work as a professional dancer and was quickly accepted into the Dance Theatre of Harlem to perform and tour with the company and ensemble. In addition, she has danced professionally with Alabama Ballet and Columbia City Ballet. Recent projects include performances with New York Jazz Choreography Project; The Time Machine with Elojes Dance Theatre, Uptown Performance Series; The Midtown International Theater Festival presentation of They Walk Among Us; and The Four with Prospect Theater Company. She has participated in numerous ballet and musical theatre showcases, teaching, choreographic and freelance opportunities.
