Steven Gillenwater

Steven Gillenwater (Director, Ardor Doody). Steven Gillenwater holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and Graduate Certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Since 2003, Steven has been working with The Subjective Theatre Company, first as the Community Outreach Director and, currently, as the Producer for the STC Reading Series. Directing credits with Subjective include An American Book of the Dead as part of The Rubin Museum of Art's Brainwave Festival, Face of Beauty at 78th Street Theatre Lab and 7 Blowjobs at Manhattan Theatre Source. Other directing credits include: Monroe Bound (Midtown International Theatre Festival, Mighty Little Productions) Dying of Consumption (2008 Binge Festival), Wood (Fuckplays Festival at The Ohio Theatre) and Oceanside Parkway (Working Man’s Clothes at American Place Theatre).
