Walter Ryon

WALTER RYON (Scenic Designer) is a director, designer and choreographer based out of New York City. He runs the new works program called the PiTCH at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, where he will also be directing the world premiere of Neurosis: The Musical next summer. Recent directing/assisting credits include: Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged] (MGR Youth Tour), Virtually Me! (TheatreworksUSA), Arms and the Man (Guthrie Theater), Divorce Party the Musical (Kravis Center), Date of a Lifetime (NYMF) and tick, tick…BOOM! (Robert Moss Theater). Other credits include: Scheme of the Superbullies (NY Children’s Theater Festival), Cherry Orchard (14th St Y) and multiple productions with Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Surflight Theater and West Virginia Public Theater.
