Mary Beth Smith

Mary Beth Smith has worked as a director in New York City for the past six years. A few of her credits include The Blue Room by David Hare (59E59), In Our Own Image: Big Boy two Scoop by Christopher Heath (Agony Productions), Perpetuation by Sarah Bernstein (American Globe Theatre), and Waking Up With Strangers by Paul David Young (Horse Trade Theater Group). She is also a frequent contributor to nytheatre.com. Before coming to New York, Mary Beth specialized in both directing Shakespeare and magic. She holds an MFA in Directing from the New School for Drama.
