LINES by Terence Patrick Hughes is a gripping new play about race and humanity set in a fictional yet familiar country where a line has been laid down, separating blacks and whites. Directed by Heidi Grumelot and presented in association with Ice & Fire Theatre of London.

Paul Herbig (Pete) has worked extensively in Off-Off Broadway theatre, working with Mainspring Collective, Emerging Artists Theatre, Heiress Productions, and the American Theatre of Actors among others.  This is his second show with Horse Trade, having played the roles of Tommy and Sock Puppet in last summer's production of Donny and the Monsters.  Paul has also worked in independent film, and just finished shooting The Adventures of Paul and Marian, his first lead in a feature.  He would like to thank Horse Trade, and the entire cast for being a wonderful group to work with, and come back to.

Roland Lane (Deacon, Keys) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Hillsborough, New Jersey. As a kid he was involved in various athletics, such as football, basketball, baseball and went on to run Track and Field at Salisbury University. While attending the university he got his first taste of theatre while putting on a performance for children in the play Alice in Wonderland. Originally he went to school to become a director for television and film, he found a new love in theatre. After graduating from the university and receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media, he enrolled in the New York Film Academy in Manhattan to study acting.
While there he performed in numerous projects from film and theatre, and has performed at the Players Club Theatre, and The Tank Theatre. Also he is getting involved with Story Building Foundation Inc; A non-profit organization that inspires hope, self-expression, and leadership in young people through experiencing and documenting through the creative process of art. Since then he has been involved with the called Empire comedy, an improvisation and sketch comedy group that performs monthly at The Tank. US Regional credits include Lines, Sorrows of Stephen, Landscape of the Body, On the Verge, As You Like It, Topgirls (Greenlight Productions, SC,) A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Winged Man, Waterbabies, All My Sons, Hatful of Rain (SCGSAH,) Last of the Red Hot Lovers and The Woolgatherer (Crabpot Players, SC.) TV credits include several episodes of Lifetime’s Army Wives. Emily attended The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’s full 3 year B.A. program in London (graduating class of 2008.)

Amanda Van Nostrand (Girly, Moon) is very excited to be joining the cast of Lines.  She was previously seen in Horse Trade's Drafts Fest and is thrilled to be working with them again.  Some of her favorite roles include Natalya Stepanovna in Chekov's The Marriage Proposal, Susan in No Sex Please, We're British, Sissy in Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean. and the title role in Dulcy.  Amanda feels so honored to be a part of this new work.  Much love to her family and friends for all of their constant love and support.

Jeff Sproul (Mayor) is the co-founder of No Tea Productions with his amazing wife Lindsey. He has performed in each of No Tea’s previous shows, as well as having written The Kentucky Goblin Siege, The Artistical Process of Mark & Andy, and “Evacuation Plan” from the show Liars. He has appeared in numerous stage productions in New York and Colorado, the independent films Flowers and Rehearsal, and the short films In Transit and Straphanger. Many thanks to Heidi, Nicole, Terrence and the rest of the cast and crew of Lines for being so helpful and welcoming during his rather late arrival to this fantastic show.

Regina Gibson (Ruth) Holds a B.F.A in Theatre from the Stella Adler Studio at the TISCH program of NYU, where she also studied Commedia Dell’arte in Italy, Irish Playwrights in Dublin, and site-specific movement in Chile. Recent NY Theatre: The Sparkling Object (Canal Park Playhouse), Macbeth (Pulse Ensemble Theatre), Regional: Eureka! (Chamber Theatre Productions Tour). Recently she wrapped the pilot 55 and Over  starring Richard Kline and Emmy winner Collen Zenk. Up next she will be appearing as Sister Contentious in Flowers of Fantastico in the Fringe Festival. James Allerdyce (Buck) studied theatre in Miami at The New World School of the Arts and earned his B.F.A in Theatre-Acting.  He had the opportunity to travel to Greece and perform The Trojan Woman in Athens and performed his One-Person-show in the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival.
