SARAH B. BROWN (Scenic Design) is excited to be working with Counting Squares Theatre for the first time. Her other New York City credits include Projections and Set Design for Ghost on Fire with the Oberon Ensemble and Set Design for Coming Home with Living Image Arts Theatre and Sherlock Solo for the Resonance Theatre Ensemble. Sarah holds a BFA in design from Baylor University and is currently an artist member of the Resonance Theatre Ensemble.

| JOSHUA CHASE GOLD (Director, co-Artistic Director) has had so much fun working on this project. Joshua holds his B.F.A. in Performance from UCF Conservatory Theatre and trained with the good folks of Shakespeare and Company. Over the past year, as co-Artistic Director of Counting Squares, Joshua has directed the smash off-Broadway revival of Bent and designed the sets for Boys Life (I and II) and Carpe Tunnel. Other favorite directorial and design work include Credo, Ruthless! The Musical, Spring’s Awakening, Medea, Nunsense! The Musical, and Pippin. Joshua is also a reviewer for nytheatre.com and an adjudicator for the New York Innovative Theatre Awards. He would like to thank all of the wonderfully dedicated people who poured their hearts and souls into this project. Special thanks to Mr. Soto who gets me, gets it, and doesn’t give up until it’s perfect. Infinite gratitude to his Mother and Father, who are supportive and loving without any questions. It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers. |
| ANDREW SOTOMAYOR (Music Direction and Arrangement) is thrilled to once again be working with Counting Squares. Previous credits include music directing the NYMF reading of Cutman: a boxing musical, as well as serving as Orchestra Apprentice for Seaside Music Theater's Five Guys Named Moe and Dear Edwina. Favorite roles include Man 1 in Songs for a New World and Charley in Merrily We Roll Along. As a composer, he has written and performed the original song cycle Requiem for Adrian Bayle for Spotlight On, as well as original music for Carpe Tunnel, Bent, the Broadway Sings the Phonebook concert for the Make A Wish Foundation, and the short film The Man Who Killed Castro. Andrew wishes to thank his Father and Mother for their unending love and support. |
JESSICA BURGESS (Lighting Design) is currently Resident Lighting Designer for Theatre East, Counting Squares Productions, Alden Moves Dance Company and The Nightingale-Bamford School in New York City; The Brevard Music Center in North Carolina, and The Tyler Junior College Apache Belles in Texas. Her Off Broadway debut was Harvest for the Alchemy Theatre Company at Theatre Row. Off Off Broadway credits include: Martin Sherman's Bent at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre and Boys' Life at The Kraine Theatre. Design credits from the Brevard Music Festival in North Carolina include The Magic Flute, The Mikado, Little Women the opera, Floyd's Susannah, Candide, Camelot, and La Boheme. Jessica received her Masters for Lighting Design from Purchase College. Her Purchase design credits include Dark of the Moon, By the Bog of Cats and The Coronation of Poppea. She has assisted NYC designers such as Dennis Parichy, David Grill, and Andrea Boccanfuso as well as was Assistant to the Designer to Brian MacDevitt on Broadway's The Color Purple.

STEPHEN F. ARNOCZY (Doctor) received his BFA in Acting this past May from NYU’s Tisch, where he studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and The Classical Studio. Some favorite acting experiences of his while there include roles in Jet of Blood, When It Stopped, Galileo, and Hamlet. Besides acting, Stephen enjoys sound designing, dancing, and figuring out how to travel the world for free. He wouldn’t be where he is today without having had the experience of working on Tune Up, Faulty Piston! with some of his closest friends and collaborators this past summer – special thanks to director Andrew Scoville. He feels incredibly honored and considers himself quite lucky to have joined the cast of Woyzeck! |

JARRED BAUGH (Andres) is pumped and excited about working on his second production with Counting Squares. His NY debut was in Carpe Tunnel, in which he undertook several roles including Roman Soldier in The Book of Murray. He is an AEA Candidate and a Recognized Actor/Combatent by the SAFD, and also a founding member of the comedy sketch group The Polite Society. He sends much love to his family, friends, Kentucky and L-boogey. He hopes you enjoy the show. |

KENDRA HOLTON (Girl 1) still calls Florida home and trained at the Theatre Conservatory of University of Central Florida, where the seeds for CST were sowed. She decided to actually use that degree after befriending the brilliant minds at Shakespeare and Company, where she spent time speaking in verse, assimilating and refusing to wear shoes a few summers back. Kendra was last seen dancing around in Carpe Tunnel, and before that as Carla in Boys' Life at the Kraine Theatre. Favorite roles include Carol in Split, Anna in Closer, and Anita in West Side Story. Kendra has yet to find words large enough to fill with love for friends and family. |

AARON KIRKPATRICK (Captain) This is Aaron’s third production with Counting Squares. Aaron wrote, directed, and performed in The Book of Murray; featured in the Counting Squares original Carpe Tunnel. Aaron played Don in Counting Squares’ production of Howard Korder’s Boy’s Life. Aaron graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.F.A. in Performance. |

DAN KANE (Drum Major) is thrilled to be making his New York debut with Counting Squares Theatre. Dan is originally from Chicago and holds a B.F.A. in acting from the University of Michigan. Favorite roles include William in You Never Can Tell, Max in Lend Me A Tenor, Fagin in Oliver, Gus in The Cradle Will Rock, and Toulon in M Butterfly. Dan would like to thank his Mom, Dad, Nikki, Brett, Michael, his Bubbies, and all of his friends for all of their love and support. |

DENA KOLOGY (Marie, co-Artistic Director) holds a BFA in Performance from the University of Central Florida. Before she made the move to the big NYC two years ago, Dena Co-Founded Swingset Productions and co-directed the smash A New Brain in sunny Orlando Florida. This year she directed and performed in Counting Squares Theatre's productions of Boy's Life (I and II) and Bent (AD), and wrote a piece and performed in several pieces for the recent Carpe Tunnel. Some of her favorite roles include Nora (Nora), Gwen (5th of July), Marie-Louise (The Constant Wife), Eliza (My Fair Lady) and Sarah Jane Moore (Assassins). Dena thanks Ryan for being the most amazing partner in crime, and this talented group of folks for supporting the company and giving so freely of their time and energy! |

MADELEINE MABY (Margret) is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Atlantic Theater School and in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Some of her favorite productions since graduating include Bloody Mary and Barhoppers with Third Man Prod; 7 Blowjobs with Thin Duke Prod.; the 24 hour plays mainstage musical; Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland as part of the Atlantic Kids Season; and every show she has been a part of with The Ateh Theater Group, of which she is a founding member, www.ateh.org. RYAN NICHOLOFF (Woyzeck, Founder & co-Artistic Director) is so happy to bring this beautifully collaborative labor of love to the NYC stage and to be in residency here at Horse Trade Theatre and theirs spaces. As the founder and co- artistic director of Counting Squares Theatre Ryan is thrilled to be working with this cast and honored to share the stage with such wonderful and talented people. Ryan was last seen in various roles in the recent Counting Squares production of Carpe Tunnel, Jack in Boys’ Life at the Kraine Theater and Max in the Blue Asphalt Productions/Counting Squares Theatre's critically adored production of Martin Sherman's Bent off-Broadway at the 13th Street Repertory Theater. Past roles include: Austin in True West, Ray in Lonestar, Bentley Summerhays in Shaw's award winning Misalliance and Lee Harvey Oswald in Assassins. Ryan attended The University of Central Florida, where he received his BFA in musical theatre, as well as four Irene Ryan nominations for his performances. Ryan reviews theatre for NYtheatre.com and indietheatre.org and is also a singer/songwriter and has composed scores for such productions as Death of a Salesman, Look Homeward, Angel, and Bus Stop. In his spare time Ryan enjoys traveling, getting lost in the city and eating good food. Ryan would like to thank his family, friends, and Dena for being the best person on Earth. Enjoy the show! |

DEBORAH RADLOFF (Girl 2) is tickled pink to be playing with the Counting Squares Theatre. Previous NY credits include: Sex & Money & Money & Sex with the Crosstown Playwrights Festival, Hell's Belle's at the West End Theatre, and a staged reading of the newly updated A Tree Grows in Brooklyn with the Pecadillo Theatre Company, and a reading of Chelsea..Alaska by Michael Niederman premiered at the Soho Think Tank's sixth floor series. Regionally Deborah was seen in Joel Paley & Marvin Laird's (creators of Ruthless! The Musical) new musical, The Yiddish are Coming.....The Chosen Musical at the New Denver Civic, as well as five seasons with the Nebraska Shakespeare festival. Deborah holds a B.A in theatre from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Much love to HWR. |
