"...with the audience integrated into the action, you'll never see the same show twice. So with Bite , there actually aren't any reruns, ever." "Bite is a great New York night out. Once again Horse Trade has produced a sexy comic gem and writer/director Suzanne Bachner is to be commended" Frank J. Avella
The audience participation sections are particularly fun, as audience members are plucked out of their seats and thrust into the action... The entire cast is terrific... Bite is a fun and worthwhile production. And, The Red Room is the perfect funky, intimate venue for it... Just make sure you arrive on time. Latecomers get seated on stage, in the dentist's waiting room. And, then there's no telling what'll happen next. Michael Criscuolo
Straight, gay and bisexual options are both welcome and encouraged, ensuring that Bite is never the same but always scandalous. Pass the laughing gas!

Dysfunctional Theatre, The John Montgomery Theatre Company
Dysfunctional Theatre, The John Montgomery Theatre Company and Horse Trade present the World Premiere of BITE. This new comedy of dentistry and domination is written and directed by Suzanne Bachner , author of the Off-Broadway hit Circle.
In BITE, comic sex farce meets choose-your-own-adventure. It intertwines the tales of two competing dentists, two dominatrixes, and a southern belle. The action begins in a sterile 5th Avenue dentist's chair and ends down in the cavities of a secret dominatrix-run dungeon with the audience in control all the way. Unlike most "interactive" theater experiences, BITE is intricately scripted and meticulously plotted with multiple outcomes at every turn. Never the same show twice, you'll want to keep coming back to get a different taste with every BITE. The production stars Bob Brader, Robert Brown, Jennifer Gill, Theresa Goehring, Amy Overman, Justin Plowman with Naomi Warner and Peter Schuyler. BITE features
Jeff Goldschmidt, Stage Manager
dramaturgy by Rick Vomdran and Margaret Stockton, with sound design by Alexander R. Warner and costume, prop & mask design by Deborah Alves,
Lighting consultant John Tees, III
and set by Charles Townsend Wittreich, Jr.
Dysfunctional Theatre Company was founded in 1997 as a collective committed to producing fast-paced, pop culture-based shows that experiment with the structure of theater. Among its past 21 productions are The Eight: Reindeer Monologues; Hoover: A Love Story; Real Live Sex Onstage ; Dario Fo's We Won't Pay, We Won't Pay; I Am Star Trek; Sir John Wilmot's Sodom or the Quintessence of Debauchery; and a workshop production of BITE in April 2005 at The Red Room. Dysfunctional Theatre has been a Horse Trade resident company since 2001.
