Neil Casey has been writing and performing at the UCB for 5 years. He can be seen weekly improvising with the feral Friday night improv group Death By Roo Roo at 11pm (ucbtheatre.com), at colleges and festival across the country with the UCB Touring Company, and on specia loccasions with the uncanny comedy quartet Krohmpf, which must be seen to be seen. Over the years, he performed in Instant Cinema which ran for two years, The After-School Super Power Hour, and on several resident UCB house teams on Harold Night. In addition to improv, Neil has written and performed in several sketch shows including Your Favorite Thing with Joe Wengert, The Church of Positivitology with the group GameFace, The 4/20 Show, and various showcases at the theater. He co-wrote and animated the Math Dragon cartoon shorts, and has been involved in several series for Channel 102 (www.channel102.net) including Gemberling (soon to be on Adult Swim), Cat News, and most recently The Incredible Drunk which he co-wrote and starred in with fellow Death By Roo Roo scumbag Anthony Atamanuik. He directed the One Act Slow Night written by and starring Sarah Burns and Margot Leitman which continues to run on the UCB Stage, as well as the sketch show That's My Booze! as well as Katie Dippold's One-Woman Murder Mystery which you would have loved |

Alden Ford

Alden has lived and improvised in NYC since 2004 after receiving his Theatre B.A. from Whitman College. He's studied at UCB and Magnet Theaters and performed at UCB, the Magnet and the PIT with Death League and his three-man long-form/sketch group, Sidecar. He's originally from Alaska and currently lives in Brooklyn where he takes headshots.

Anna Rubanova

Anna Rubanova has been studying improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since June of 2005. She has studied under improv greats
such as Chris Gethard, Michael Delaney, Christina Gausas, Anthony King, and Billy Merritt and has done workshops with Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, TJ Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi She is a founding member of Death League Tea Party and with them has performed throughout New York City for the past year. Other notable appearances include the 8th Annual Del Close Marathon, the 2006 3x3 Tournament, and Anthony King's Sensory Deprivation at the UCB Theater. When she grows up, Anna would like to be a history professor - or a writer or a pony. |

Steven Slate

Steven can be seen performing improv comedy regularly with 2 troupes, Death League Tea Party and Big Tobacco (winners of the Upright Citizen Brigade's 2006 Indie Team Cagematch Tournament). He's studied under New York's finest improv teachers such as Armando Diaz, Chris Gethard, Charlie Todd and Rachel Hamilton to name a few. You may have seen him at the UCB Theatre in the Del Close Marathon, The Nights of Our Lives, or One Night Stand. In addition to this, you may see him up on a soapbox from time to time in the heat of one of his many passionate rants. |
Cesa Kobe-Smith

Cesa has appeared in countless stage productions such as Tony and Tina's Wedding, and A Midsummer's Night's Dream to name a few. She has also appeared in the short films Maid of Honor, and Pugumentary. Perhaps it's her work in children's theater that brings something special to her improvised work, she's appeared in the Princess and The Pauper, and Christmas With The 3 Bears. She's also studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, the current home of the best live comedy available. Whatever it is, Cesa brings something very distinctive and fun to every Death League Tea Party show she performs in. |
Joe Spellman

Joe Spellman has been keeping it real for quite sometime. He has been studying improv at the UCB theatre for over 2 years now. He enjoys poker, fly fishing, and traveling on long car rides with the wind in his hair. He would like to thank everyone in Death League Tea Party for being such great friends and such great lovers.

Kristy Webb

Kristy Webb, originally from Miami, FL, moved to New York in February of 2005. Since that time she has been studying improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Briefly, she can be seen in Robert Altman's last film, A Prairie Home Companion, walking across the stage with a gong. She chooses not to mention the various dating and cooking shows she has appeared on, even though they were on AMC and The Discovery Channel. Back in Miami, she was an Irene Ryan/Kennedy Center Scholarship Award nominee for her role as Bee Bee in Suburbia at Florida International University. Also, she somehow ended up in the finals of a stand-up Open Mic contest at the Coconut Grove Improv. She is still trying to figure that one out to this day.The group, Death League Tea Party, is one of the few ideas she had on the subway that she actually followed through with and she's thankful for every single member. That's mostly because if it had been up to her, their name would be still be P.P. Dance or A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. And those names suck. |
