The Sketch Comedy Troupe RALPH
in
TWO-MONTH RUN |
**Dark humor from a cast whose members
include acclaimed solo performers, sketch and improv comedians from
the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre,
The sketch comedy troupe RALPH, led by Mark Malkoff of the solo show Maybe I Can Get Laid in Jail, returns with all-new material in this bigger, badder, stranger, sicker follow-up to May 2000's sold-out run of The Grapes of Ralph. This time out, it's a beautiful day--but there's trouble brewing in Mister Ralphs' Neighborhood.
Mister Ralphs' Neighborhood takes you on a demented sketch journey where laughs & danger lurk just below the surface of familiar surroundings. In seventy tight minutes, RALPH goes from Teen Boot Camp to Abe Lincoln's Def Jam Set, to an AA Meeting at Bananas Comedy Club, then circles back to Mister Rogers' Sweatshop. It's not a place for trolley cars, sneakers and baby blue sweaters. Mister Ralphs' Neighborhood is where parents fire the kids and hire temps; homeless men become house pets; and racist rednecks get musical tips Schoolhouse Rock style.
Head Writer & Creator Mark Malkoff teams with Director Armando Diaz, a Director/Instructor at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. |
