BrokenArmProductions (BAP) is ProudlyPresenting the return of GILLIGAN STUMP! and THA PERFESSER… (sic). Gil and Tha Per is yet another Joseph Langham creation. After taking an extended hiatus to present the comedic romp, Out to Lunch - at FringeNYC with a subsequent run at the HA! Comedy Fest - and the dramedy solo show HAR HAR - winner of FringeNYC Excellence Award for Solo Show - The rantraving GILLIGAN returns with his silent sidekick to wreak their unique brand of havoc on downtown NYC.
GILLIGAN STUMP! and THA PERFESSER… is a difficult show to describe. Basically, GILLIGAN STUMP! plays a mean guitar and belts out aggressively hilarious lyrics - with subjects ranging from cockroach infestations to a strange desire to be Hillary’s intern – while mild-mannered mute THA PERFESSER… accompanies him in a variety of absurdly silent and highly theatrical manners. Is it a rock show? Is it a Circus? Is it Comedy? Is it brilliant theatre? Yep, uh-huh, sure thangy... It’s stupid comedy for intelligent people. It’s balls out comic rock with a twist of mime.
GIL and THA PER are regular performers at The world-famous Deep Dish Cabaret, were regulars at the legendary Surf Reality and have been seen at such prestigious comedic events such as The Surf Comedy Fest and The Big Stinkin’ International Comedy Fest.

Here’s what the press has had to say…

TimeOut NY
“Reaffirms the blurry line between the ingenious and the insane."
Paper Magazine
"Leon Redbone meets Primus meets Kids-in-the-Hall meets Son of Sam."
