left to build an identity but what she created was a mess.

Ophira Eisenberg is a stand-up comedian, writer,
and actor. Hailing from Canada, she performs regularly at renowned
comedy clubs across the country, including Carolines on Broadway,
The Improv in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Stand-Up New York and
The Comedy Garden at Madison Square Garden. Ophira has appeared
at New York's most prestigious venues, PSNBC and Luna Lounge.
Her television credits include appearances on The Guardian (CBS),
Queer as Folk (Showtime), Best Week Ever (VH1's), the Oxygen Network,
and her own half-hour comedy special on Canada on CTV's "Comedy
Now!" She is also a contributing writer to girlcomic.net,
Drill magazine and Jest humor magazine.
You can catch her every Friday night in the West Village of New
York performing at the popular stand-up show, "Sweet Paprika",
which was selected by BackStage as one of "10 Standout Stand-Ups
Worth Watching" in their 2004 Spotlight on Comedy issue.
She was a finalist in Comedy Centrals Laugh Riots competition
and is taping an episode of Comedy Central's Premium Blend in
September 2004. |

THE GRAY AREA

This comedy duo tells you how they have successfully
kept their relationship in that undefined stage and have remained
committed to non-commitment. In thirty minutes they take you through
some of their hilarious and ridiculous monumental moments such
as: how they met, the talk, and that awkward first kiss.
Bethel, a New-Agey ingénue from Southern
California and Neil, a Texas implant trying to hold on to the
glory days, have created a unique relationship under some very
improbable circumstances. Come see a brand new twist on relationships.
As a comedy duo Bethel and Neil have written
and performed close to a dozen original shows across the country.
Most recently they wrote and produced The Gray Area which won
professional acclaim at NYC's, The Barrow Group. Other shows include:
Legs Wide Shut at the Bank Street Theater, Insomnia at the West
Bank Theatre, and Faking It, Again at the HBO Workspace in Los
Angeles. Neil and Bethel perform throughout New York City, including
NBC's prestigious PSNBC, Carolines' on Broadway, Upright Citizens
Brigade Theatre and in the Toyota Comedy Festival. Together they
also host a monthly variety show, aptly named The Bethel and Neil
Variety Hour. As writers Bethel and Neil have written for Vh-1
and are contributing writers for US Magazine. As actors they have
performed in various film and television projects, Off Broadway
and can be seen on several national Commercials.
