Kate Chavez

Kate Chavez is an actor, writer and director, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a proud founding member of Up & Down Theatre Co. After finishing her MA in Theater at Brown, she moved to Madrid, Spain to work as a dramaturg and director with Y Artes theater company. She spent the next 5 years in Madrid, working with a variety of theater artists and teaching theater-based public speaking workshops with the company Entrenamiento Integral, before moving to London to study at LISPA. Favorite projects include The Sincerity Project with Team Sunshine Performance Corporation (Philadelphia), AJ and Ann (London), Catching Flight by Lila Rose Kaplan (Camden Fringe Festival, London), and Muerde la Boca (Madrid). Kate is also a screen actress who can be seen most recently on the webseries Enter the Dojo (dir. Matt Page), the short films Send in the Clowns and Agnes (dir. John Broadhead), and the feature Death and Taxes (dir. Peter McCarthy). She also holds a BA in American Civilization from Brown University.

Lindsey Hope Pearlman

Lindsey Hope Pearlman is a director, actor, writer, producer, and clown. She is a proud founding member of Up & Down Theatre Co. Favorite projects include: Leap of Faith (SDC Observer), Ships of Sand with Lyrebird Theatre Company (Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011), Winning the Future with Up & Down Theatre Co., and Rainbow Funk Squad. She also recently founded The Pearlman Sisters Theatre Co., for whom she produced a sold-out run of Devotedly, Sincerely Yours: The Story of the USO in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival 2012. Lindsey recently appeared in the Target Margin Yiddish Theater Lab at The Brick Theater in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and she performs throughout the five boroughs of NYC with the educational touring company Wildlife Theater, sponsored by the Wildlife Conservation Society. Robin Holloway

Robin Holloway is a songwriter, pianist, writer and actor who was born in New York City, and spent much of his young life in Germany. His theatrical training includes a year of training at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, and two years of study at the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA). He holds degrees in jazz piano performance from Chicago College of Performing Arts (BA), and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London (MA). Robin has been a performing and recording musician in Europe and the U.S. for over a decade, with performances at Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, and Ronnie Scott’s jazz club in London. He equally enjoys writing, performing and directing, and has composed extensively for theatre and short films. He is a proud founding member of Up & Down Theater. Favorite projects include Cosmic Jazz Cabaret, an all-original musical comedy show performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and numerous venues around London, and (of course!) Winning The Future, Up & Down Theatre’s most recent political comedy variety show.
