Period instrument duo, Flying Forms, returns to New York for a recital of music from throughout the Baroque for baroque violin and harpsichord. From Castello and Corelli to Couperin and Bach this recital will visit repertoire from all periods of the era crafted by some of its most influential composers. Formed in New York, Flying Forms is now based in Saint Paul, Minnesota where it created, manages and performs in The Baroque Room, a first of its kind performance space designed for intimate performances of chamber music and theater as well as art gallery showings. Garnering critical acclaim for its efforts in The Baroque Room, Flying Forms also performs recitals and presents lectures locally, regionally and nationally focusing equally on small audiences in casual spaces, university classrooms and noted halls.
