Aliza Einhorn
(Playwright)
Aliza Einhorn, M.F.A. in Poetry from the Iowa Writers' Workshop ('95), has had short plays produced at festivals around the country, including Fusion Theatre (Albuquerque), Madlab (Columbus), and Manhattan Theatre Source's Estrogenius. Blood, a ten-minute play, is featured in Smith & Krause's The Best Ten-Minute Plays 2011, editor Lawrence Harbison, available now from Amazon and on the S&K website. A Year Of Her Life will be Aliza's first full-length lab production and she is delighted to be working with Horse Trade and The Drafts once again. Aliza makes her living as an astrologer and blogger. Amanda Van Nostrand

Amanda Van Nostrand is thrilled to be a part of Drafts! Some of her favorite roles include: Natalya in The Marriage Proposal, Sissy in Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, and the title role in Dulcy. She is also active in the improv comedy scene and has been seen at Upright Citizen's Brigade and performs regularly with The Red Tie Mafia for which she also coaches. Heidi Grumelot

Heidi Grumelot is the Artistic Director of Horse Trade Theater Group. She is co-creator and producer of the monthly storytelling show TOLD and the founding director of The Drafts, an acting ensemble responsible for development of over forty original plays to date as part of a monthly reading series. Heidi's New York directing credits include Donnie and the Monsters at UNDER St. Marks, punkrock/lovesong at The Brick, Dido and Aeneas with The New York Collective of Performing Arts at The West End Theater and The Boston Early Music Festival, A River Pure for Healing and An Absolutely Perfect Life at UNDER St Marks, Accidents Do Happen,Tom's Things, and Turning the Glass Around in The Red Room. Assistant director credits include Antony and Cleopatra, Love's Labour's Lost, and A Christmas Carol for the American Shakespeare Center. She has also directed productions in Michigan, Virginia, and Mexico. Prior to working at Horse Trade, Heidi worked for Laura Stanzyck Casting and The Public Theater's Casting Department. Casting Assistant credits include Impressionism on Broadway, The Cripple of Inishman at Atlantic Theater Company, The Shawshank Redemption at The Gaiety Theater in Dublin, Holiday Garland at The Westport Country Playhouse, and Hamlet and Hair at Shakespeare in the Park.

J.B. Rote

JB Roté fell in love with the theatre from her first role as a snowflake in first grade in Vermont. She apprenticed at Williamstown Theatre Festival, majored in Acting at Brandeis University and completed her BFA in London at the British American Drama Academy. She has also studied and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade, Magnet and Peoples Improv Theaters. She is enjoying being an active member in The Drafts. Theatre credits include: Crawl For It, Change The Be and Donnie and the Monsters (Horse Trade), Balcony Scene 2010 (MoMA PS1). Come see her this August in LINES (Horse Trade). Rico Rosetti

Stage credits include: Gingham Dog (Vince), A Doll House (Torvald), Our Lady of 123rd St (Balthazar), As You Like It (Jaques), Trojan Women (Menelaus), Much Ado About Nothing (Don John), HurlyBurly (Eddie). TV: Law& Order (prime), Homicide, All My Children, Guiding Light. As a director, Rico helped create A Gentleman From Mississippi, which toured nationally, as well as other new works (Barking Dawgs, Drama Queen) and musicals (Into The Woods, Annie, Newsies) among others. Rico recieved his MFA at Rutgers, Mason Gross School and currently teaches at The New York Film Academy. He also works as a technician at Horse Trade.
