Walter J. Hoffman

Walter is excited to make his New York directorial debut with Vice Girl Confidential. As an actor Walter has crisscrossed the country doing everything from Shakespeare to children’s theater. Walter’s most recent credits have been in a wide variety of independent films: Heterosexuals (dir. Rob McCaskill), Fired Up ( dir. Shon McGoy), Gate of Fallen Angels (dir. Dave Meyers), Eggs Over Easy (dir. Ed Cho), Go Quietly (dir. Ray Soltani), Alley Cats (dir. Chandler Wild), School’s Out (dir. Steve Doucek), and Bob vs. Society (dir. David Pring-Mill). This past summer Walter was seen in the 2008 Fringe Festival production of Tough Guys Don’t Shoot Blanks. Other recent theater credits include: Say Your Prayers Mug! (The Red Room), The Bald Soprano (playing Mr. Martin at the Sanford Meisner Theatre), a fantastic production of Our Town (playing Howie Newsome and Joe Stoddard at the Gene Frankel Theatre, dir. Lance Hewitt), Kryptonite Hearts (Theater for the New City), Danielle Steel Writes Children’s Novels (The Looking Glass Theatre, dir. Erin Winebark).
