J. Lincoln Hallowell

Jr.(Announcer & Soundman) was born on a snowy day in August, 1963. A precocious child, he served as New York’s Chancellor for the Board of Education from 1967 – 1973. After a brief stint as a jockey, where he won the 1982 Peter Pan Stakes, he drifted into acting. His big break came on the short – lived 1988 FOX sitcom, “Double Duce,” where he played the dual roles of identical twin cousins Benito and Umberto Mussolini. He also coined the show’s catchphrase, “Hey! Who’s a da Duce ‘round a here!” He is in pre – production of a play that he has written, and will direct and star in, “Frost – Nixon II: The Thrilla in Wasilla!” in which he will play Emmanuel Steward. He has performed as a standup comic at several clubs around the metropolitan area, which refuse to pay for a mention in this biography. He currently lives in Brooklyn, with his wife Jennifer Glick, and their cat. In lieu of flowers, he asks that a donation be made in his name to the Pick 6 pool at Aqueduct. He will be missed.
