John Bronston

John Bronston is the Associate Artistic Director of re:Directions Theatre Company and a teaching artist for City Lights Youth Theatre in Manhattan. His work as a musical director and/or director has been seen throughout Manhattan and on numerous national tours. Writing credits as a composer include Fairy Tale (libretto by Joshua Robinson at NYMF 2008), Confessions of A Reality TV Star (libretto by Joshua Robinson at New York Theatre Barn 2009) and With Nothing But A Dream (libretto by Dana Leslie Goldstein at Ellis Island 2009). Some of his favorite credits: Pippin, Footloose, Rocky Horror Show, and Falsettoland (as a director), Carousel, Into the Woods, How to Succeed, and Celebration (as a musical director), and Ain't Misbehaving, Hair, Fences, and Edward II (as a performer). He is also the assoc/sub musical director for the national tours of Smokey Joe's Cafe and Five Guys Named Moe.
