Michael McClain

Michael McClain (Scenic Designer) - Michael McClain is honored to reunite with the incredible team that is The Lesbian Love Octagon. It is a blessing to be apart of a show that celebrates life, love and the human experience. In addition to designing the original production of The Lesbian Love Octagon, he also designed the original Off-Off Broadway production of Rooftops. Michael is currently the resident scenic designer for The Plaza Theater, Empire Stage, and Island City Stage in South Florida. If you are a snow bird who travels south in the winter, you can look forward to seeing his designs for Brighton Beach Memoirs, Rags, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Dirty Blonde, Timekeepers, and Bonjour, La, Bonjour to name a few. Michael has worked for the Repertory Theater of St. Louis, Opera Theater of Saint Louis and Union Avenue Opera in Missouri. Michaels holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from Webster University.
