Tracie Franklin (Ensemble) – Tracie Franklin's career has been a whirlwind of travel, adventure, and creativity. She has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the world including The Kodak Theatre, London’s Hammersmith Apollo, and world renowned Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium. As if that weren’t enough, Tracie has been given the opportunity to share the stage with her idols Debbie Allen, Ben Vereen, and Tony Bennet. As the Principal performer for Disney LIVE’s first production, she was a part of a new standard for live family theatre. Her performance garnered rave reviews from the media, including the LA Times. After, performing in seven different languages and 20 countries Tracie decided to head to New York. In New York she booked the International Tour of Hairspray as Cindy Watkins and a Dynamite . Then she left to be the dance teacher, Ms Bell, in Fame at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City. Her next job was with the incredible Color Purple National Tour where she was the Shug Understudy. After tour, Tracie has remained in New York doing off-Broadway productions, the NY Fringe Festival, jazz concerts, cabarets, and volunteering with Senior citizens.
