Honi Harlow

Honi Harlow was nothing but a country girl with big glitter dreams. Her path was chosen at the age of three when she performed her “I’m The Boom Boom Girl” number for a family gathering wearing only her older sister's head band and singing at the top of her lungs. It was a long and twisted road before she landed in NYC as choreographer of a now-debunked all-girl 80'scover band. She has played such roles as Miss Julie on tour in Maribor, Slovenia, Queen Margaret in Lublin, Poland and Helen of Troy in Thessanloniki, Greece. Name a New York City burlesque show and Honi has probably performed in it. She currently produces a weekly burlesque revue at Nurse Bettie and appears in a monthly solo cabaret show, Up Close & Personal, at Duane Park. Photo by Malgorzata Saniewska
