Melanie Hamlett

Melanie Hamlett is a adventurer, comedian, writer, storyteller, and two-time Moth storyslam winner. When not living out of the back of her truck somewhere around America, a backpack around South America, or a trailer with no running water out in New Mexico, she's residing here in NYC,where she performs regularly at the Upright Citizens Bridage Theatre in shows like Asssscat 3000, Nights of Our Lives, Stripped Stories, etc. She's got a few stories on the Risk! podcast and has written for publicationslike Marie Claire and Nerve.com and co-authored the book Leave the Lipstick, Take the Iguana.
