Jimmy Blackman

Jimmy Blackman returns to the New York theater after directing and starring in Marry Me a Little at 440 Studios with Schwatz Productions. For the last 7 years, Jimmy worked with Theater under the Stars in West Orange, New Jersey in Falsettos (Dr. Mendel), Ragtime (Tateh), and Into The Woods (Narrator/Mysterious Man). Jimmy has also performed in two national tours of Fiddler on the Roof, and was a member of Riverside Shakespeare, performing in Titus Andronicus (Clown/Alarbus) and Romeo and Juliet (Peter). Last but not least, watch Jimmy have a seizure in “Special Needs” by Issac James, and see Jimmy scare Jason Jung speed dating in Echovision's “Big Shea Social Club,” starring....oh yeah...Walter Hoffman. Thank you Walter, Allison and Todd. Jimmy dedicates his performance to the memory of my Grandma, Ida Murphy.
