Cynthia G. Robinson

Cynthia Robinson is the 2012 Calvin B. Grimes Scholar (NYU) for her artistic merit. Honors: Tribeca All-Access Open Stage (2004), Best New Play IRNE nomination (Ascension, 2006), Thomas Barbour Memorial Playwright's Award finalist (2008). Plays: Peola's Passing (2012 Samuel French OOB Theatre Festival), Gold Star Mother (EstroGenius 2012), Ascension (Our Place Theatre; 2009 National Black Theatre Festival; 2008 FringeNYC), Thunder: A Musical Memoir (2007 FringeNYC). She is a member of The Dramatists Guild and Women's Work Lab (New Perspectives Theatre).
